In 2010 a new cortensteel sculpture "You and Me" has been placed at the port of Blankenberge.
The Lotus Blooms is 3m high and made of bronze, placed at the Royal Villa, Oncology Rehabilitation Centre in Ostend.
The lotus symbolizes birth and rebirth,
A symbol of purity, beauty, purity and growth sobriety,
The urge to light and the consciousness of a new life,
The lotus effect = self-cleaning.
The urban workshops of Ostend are fully engaged in restoring the bronze statue "The Tree of Life", to then restore the sculpture on the spreading pastures of the cemetery at the Stuiverstraat Ostend.
Jacky De Maeyer is working on a new sculpture, "De Lotus Bloeit".
This sculpture will be made in bronze and will be placed at the Royal Villa (future revalidation centrum for cancerpatients) in Ostend.
Restaurant Beluga (Reservation: 059.51.15.88 - Albert I Promenade 73 Oostende) presents today a new porcelain art plate called "Dwarrelen op zee".

Welcome on the new website of Jacky De Maeyer.
In 2008 the neighborhood-council of Raversijde decided to use the available budget for "Wijk in Beweging" (WIB) to spend on an artwork of Jacky De Maeyer.
On 9th june 2009 was the sculpture Zeilen inaugurated at Raversijde. The sculpture has a heigth of 4 meters and is made in cortenstaal.

The monumental outdoor sculptures by Jacky De Maeyer are the result of well-developed forms that have become a symbol of rhythms that depend on a whole. The suggestive element of his sculptures arise from the simplicity of the discrete components but also a penetrating way the atmosphere of the room where they are placed interpret: wind, sails and waves.
